What kind of phone do you have? Just confirmed gapless playback works on mine streaming. I remember gapless randomly becoming a thing when I still had my Note 4, but your OS version might be too old to work with a newer version of Nugs or something.
the playback on iOS is “gapless” in that there are no pauses, but it’s definitely not seamless. Usually skips a second or so of the end of the current and beginning of the next

I’m wondering why people are having such different playback experiences. When I tested my playback earlier I didn’t notice anything being lost or skipped. Pretty seamless.
Because the nugs app sucks?

I think that’s what I’m experiencing. I’m not completely bitching. On the bright side I can download/listen to any show I please so for that I’m grateful

Does Nugs use more data than other streaming services? I bought a month and listened quite a bit while driving. My data use was over 10gb more than a typical month and that was the only change. I usually listen to Spotify the same amount as I listened to Nugs and my data use isn’t a problem.

Weird, you check to see if you have any apps doing BS block chain stuff in the background? Most phones should have something that tells you usage stats
Yeah, I looked into that and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. I was just checking if this was a known thing about nugs.
AFAIK no but we’ve established Nugs randomly sucks in varying ways before

I’m gonna try another month and reset my data use metrics. The previous metrics were confounded a bit because I hadn’t reset in awhile
On iPhone you can see how much data specific apps used within a period.
