have to agree on usability. the apps need updating in the worst way. that said, once you find what you want their service is stable, unlike TG which has clearly not invested in their features or reliability.
and iirc, nugs is powering livephish, which is still the gold standard for streaming shows.
Oh yeah, have we talked about how the “select a year” option randomly disappears on the app and there’s no way to browse shows?

Yep, fuckin’ lame but a workaround is search > year > band name. Takes a lot longer but it works…

Easily the best part of having a Sonos is being able to listen to nugs without using the nugs app. The Sonos app is pretty shitty too but worlds better than the nugs app.

I don’t use the app much, but on desktop there is an issue that sounds similar where you click “Browse by Year” and it just says “No results found.”

This happens to me weekly. Another thing is a year’s shows being randomly rearranged with random shows just temporarily missing from the list.

I have a question for you guys who might know more. They seem to have a bunch of yonder shows but missing a bunch from 2009. I wanted to listen to my first show a few weeks back but couldn’t find it. Does yonder not have their whole catalogue on there or is it just bugs geeking out.
The further you go back the less there are. Definitely not a complete collection.
140 recordings from 2009 up on LMA. perhaps your first show is there?
dumb question since i’m not a nugs.net user - is it tied to LMA at all or just its’ own repository uploaded by bands only (and thus, nearly 100% SBD)?

Yep. That happened to me yesterday. Then when you search a specific show it doesn’t search it at all.
I wanted to listen to a jam from 2011 so I had to scroll back through every single show since then until I got to it
