Not sure if this is the truth or just on brand SJB boof material.

How tf is Jake going to creep if there isn’t a back door? Dumb question.

Any word on a stream yet?

That is a No.

I figured so, worth asking. Luckily, I’m in the hotel basically in the parking lot so I can push the car home instead of drinking and driving, haha.

Yet another familiar face from the old Bort. Welcome back!

That Hampton Inn gonna have a scene like the Brahmada by the Fillmore in Denver?

Does anybody know if this is the first “concert” this drive-inn is putting on? I look on their website and it doesn’t seem like they have put a show on to this scale. Knowing the area I just have a feeling this is going to be shit-show trying to get cars in and out.

I mean, sure it probably will be somewhat of a shitshow. But keep in mind this is a stadium that holds 25,000+ people. Someone said they heard the attendance was capped at 530 cars for these shows, so that is far less traffic than the average Chicago Fire game.

I can only imagine so, limited Air BnBs close so I bit the bullet on booking there.

Yeah I’ve been looking into places to stay and there’s just nothing in that area. Deciding between that Hampton Inn or somewhere in the city.

I might be able to stay at a buddy’s place in Irving Park but that’s a bit of a trek.

I found one legit BnB close but the rules were extremely strict, like taking off shoes in the house, cameras at the doors, etc. I’m not one to destroy someone’s property but I’m also not trying to feel like I’m at Thanksgiving at Grandma’s.

I’ve seen Phish there, and never had a problem getting out of the parking lot. With way fewer cars, shouldn’t be too bad.

Yeah that shit is annoying. We got an Airbnb in Denver a handful of years ago and the list of rules was INSANE. To the point where they tried telling us no alcoholic beverages or pot was even allowed on the property.

Edit: based on patty melt’s pictures, that actually might make things move a bit better than what my cynical OP said.

the fire “averaged” 11K fans per game and traffic still sucked. that location sucks. it is not zoned for big crowds to fluctuate in and out. it bottle necks at multiple locations regardless of which direction you approach. It may not be terrible, but I guarantee you Harlem will be backed up at least 3/4 of a mile while admitting people. It wont move fast.

Just found these on the stadium‘s FB page, looks like they did a drive in on Saturday so they’ve had a trial run, I imagine the set up will be the same.

FYP

Exactly what I was thinking. I work near that area and hate when I have to go to Argo high school for anything. I would recommend that you show up earlier rather than later, and plan on being stuck in some traffic afterward.

Found this pic from the future. N1 S1 3rd song
