Umphrey’s At The Drive Inn

Anyone have any idea if the sound is gonna come through the car radios? Or if its just gonna be a big ass PA?

I hope no one gets wook flu mutated with Covid-19 at these shows.

Nah man, pretty sure I read that the wook flu kills COVID.

Looking like I did indeed jump the gun and buy a ticket before checking with my extended UM fam about who else was going. Bad move on my part. So I have an extra for Section C for Sunday night. Anyone in need? I’ll only gouge you with a 250% markup.

pedestrian. i mean, truly only a fraction of true KBism

For an extra $300 I’ll toss in my used water bottle from my flight.

Anybody want to party with me as soon as I depart my flight from Florida?

Only if you come straight from a packed ass beach.

I would think that along with Hey 19, the other cover that would be super appropriate during these crazy times we’re going through would be …and justice for all.

I approve of both of these choices.

Or maybe this one…

stupid question, but why is this being called At The Drive Inn? I’ve heard of a “drive in,” and even a “drive-in,” but what the fuck is a drive inn

Didn’t realize this until you pointed it out. Now it’s going to bug me.

On a more selfish note, the Hey 19 would be real special for my fiancée & me. We both absolutely love Steely Dan. We were supposed to be getting married on Sept 19 & got engaged at Summer camp ‘19.

She’s never seen UM cover the tune & I’ve only caught it once in Chicago, 10-4-02.

We can only make the 1st night, which is exactly 2 weeks before our planned wedding date.

I’m sure they’ll play it on Sun 9-6…Haha. :man_shrugging:

they would be legally obligated to play a cover of one armed scissor if they called it at the drive-in
