I texted @thefussyasianman about this show yesterday. Instant classic. Two full sets of great jams.

I briefly met you guys and @grrrrrant before that show. Gotta love the Embassy Suites happy hour.

Between the bort and college friends it felt like I knew half the people at that show.

10 years since their first 2 night Red Rocks run. This show still holds up as my favorite of the 5 RR shows I’ve seen. Near perfect first set (minus Roctopus).

The speak up creep funk jam into water is one of my fav things

My first Red Rocks show. I remember freaking out during the Fir jam when they teased Disclosure. Like there’s no way they’re jamming this obscure deep track from one of my favorite artists. Good times.

Just gonna bump this little gem, my first show, 19 years ago this Saturday.

What this show was potentially going to end up being , could’ve been really really special. They had the 2 set time slot and such a super legit start underway. FWIW, they sure as hell made up for it when they returned in ‘05, but this was still very crushing. Didn’t help that that tea which had been consumed was starting to really grab onto us, right as the electricity in the atmosphere was matching the electricity on stage.

At least you got that Plunger intro!

15 years ago was my first Red Rocks show. Road tripped to Colorado and did an epic backpacking trip after the Boulder 7/4 show in the West Elk Mountains.

It still baffles me how many shows we share out of our near 200 am we didn’t meet until 2023.

catshot intro still the best. Love the hbb and divisions from this. Release was sick too

ESAS was pretty sick

This 1st set is so damn tight. Just a ferocious display of UM at the top of their game!

Is there a better end of DBK, ever? This is just a pummeling version with the “MILWAUKEE….WISCONSIN” bits from Jake. :fire: :fire: :fire:
