That Red Tape is an all-timer. On the short list of my favorite UM performances.
20 years since my 2nd UM show. Co-headlined with moe. at “westport outdoors” which was nothing more than a stage set up in a parking lot outside the former Beaumont Club (RIP) which is now a pretty solid BBQ joint (Char Bar.)
Was my first moe. show and had a split squad encore. They kept going into Wind It Up which was awesome.
It’s now been 21 years…what a blast!!

Yea one of the first shows I really got into deep. The way they transition from Divisions into Phil’s Farm is so mathematically satisfying. The eighth notes grouped together in 3s for the Divisions breakdown becomes the eighth notes grouped in 2s for Phil’s Farm
HBD 6/10/06 Boscoe full band switch
3x > Buddha > 3x
This experience was so dang fun. Think they played til the sun came up.

After seeing the 2 posts above this one by @StoneJackBaller & @Serac about this night, it dawned on me that it’s now the 20yr anniversary & I somehow haven’t bumped this show for 4 years. What a f’n great evening for sure. We had some absolutely out of control mahl & it was starting to really lay into us right during that Haunt jam. Gobbled some more (obvs) during setbreak and those set 2 shenanigans just launched us right out of our boots. Can still feel those waves when thinking about it…
