Wild. This was my first time seeing Um, although I didn’t stay the whole time. I remember the crowd being packed for Keller, pretty sure people were climbing the light poles to get a view of the stage.
Probably the best single day lineup at summer fest I can remember, I wish I appreciated it more at the time!
Such an amazing night…absolutely perfect cocktail of electricity in the room on a Friday the 13th! Colors were poppin’ big time. I know I’ve told the story before, about my good friend who was living out there at the time. He ate a super fire L/Mahl pressie that I had come into having the day before. About 2-3 songs in, decided he needed a smoke & walked out, despite security specifically telling him no re-entry. He ended up at a bar down the block hanging with some very odd characters until we were out of the show. I still can’t believe he missed this one.
Footnotes:

Really great 1st set and encore. Chill segue from OOO. The SF1 jam covers a lot of ground (funk>blues>bliss) WMM got a little jam in it too. The Mail Package stew is a must listen. Beautiful venue as well. Great run of summer shows in the NE. Gonna miss Jake and Kris. Never going to get shows like this again.
