Still a top 5 show for me. That first set is just such quintessential UM and I wish I could see them play like that at every show.
Happy show that never happened day

Love this show. Just wish the SBD had October Rain > Bridgeless.
There’s a SBD?..
yeah it’s part of the KB Exclusives Club.
It’s got all the tapers appreciation shows, JWelsh’s wedding, all the missing pre '06 shows…
Just $9.99 a day after a one time fee of $99.
Obligatory yearly post, but this show can never get too much love. This will likely always remain in the top 10, if not top 5, of my 220+ UM shows I’ve attended.

Solid show in a beautiful spot. Very patient jams in the first set with Soul Food the highlight and great song selection. WMM has a little jam too. Fuzz and tinkles are worth the listen but the encore Mail Package is a must listen.
3 nights before was the HOB Atlantic City with Magner sitting in for a few songs. Not on nugs though.
lost $ playing blackjack, pre-galactic. lost $ playing blackjack between galactic and um set 1. made my money back to break exactly even playing blackjack between um set 1 and um set 2.
My 1st HBC show 14 years ago. Was just really starting to get into the band. Been awhile since I’ve listened, I remember not liking the harmonica sit in by Galactic dude at all, being blown away by the ending of Morning Song (those were the dayyyyysssss!), and the Fir being sweet (turns out it was the debut of that for UM). Liked the 1st set much more than the 2nd.

This is probably my 2nd favorite 1 setter after 10KLF. Starts off hot with jams in ITK and Wellwishers, and they just keep coming. I think every song except for Mail Package, OoO, Come Closer, and Snucka has enjoyable improv.
This was a lot of fun…
