So the band is accepting money

Kevin Browning must go. Quotation mark quotation mark you ask. Because if we take a look at the facts since 2011, when Browning left the soundboards to take over a more managerial position for the band, the band has done nothing but decline. Since his take over of UM HQ there had always been a talk of appealing to the masses, coupled with horrendous decisions such as turning bill Graham show into a cash grab, turning a documentary into a cash grab and playing the beacon theater. UMVIP is a waste of money more often than not and most marketing campaigns, whether for albums or mercy are corny and do nothing to drive excitement. They botched the double album big time and on that topic need a manager willing to tell them to try a different producer FOR ONCE. Someone mentioned the band seems too comfortable and I agree, but that is the fault of management. When a sports team gets complacent the manager is replaced with somebody who lights a fire under the teams ass. it NEEDS TO HAPPEN HERE.

Browning must go. #browningmustgo

Ok Houston we have a problem. 250 character limit when giving instructionsand idk if simply telling Joel “read Browning pasta outloud” will be enough to get him to do it. Any ideas?

They promoted the paypal link in the third tweet…

Lol they must have seen this thread. Doing free webcast on nugs every Monday with donate links to conscious alliance.

Good start but I’d still rather throw 5 bones and get some sort of Bayliss-getting-shitfaced-on-wine type webcast…

Why not both?

You can already watch this show on Nugs with your subscription. Not bitching, just stating as I just realized it when I checked the app for the setlist.

The actual show was bad or the stream itself was bad?

Maybe they’re expecting a whole lot of quarantined Mondays and are just saving the best for last…

The show. Weakest of the Bk Bowl Run that week. BLBC was probably the best jam of the night and wasn’t anything special and the Bob Weir sit-in was total garbage.

My comments to the Yahoo list that night were as follows:

Bright Lights > dance jam > rock jam
Ringo had a jam that sounded like Show Biz Kids to my ears
Making Flippy Floppy had a wonderful dark and percussive jam
Domino Theory was tight for a debut
Not Fade Away was fun, and had a little jam (lots of Joel on organ); huge ovation from the crowd
Glory was short and sweet
OoO > 3x > Floor was a great run
The Linear was great, and the Phil’s Farm had a huge bounce-back jam in it

A little reading between the lines with the Weir sit in, lol.

I honestly thought that whole run was a bit of a letdown by 2011 standards

Bayliss guitar lessons $100 hr. Not the worst.

.

I did one once. Had a blast

interesting. how did it go? did you guys just BS about stuff until you found something to work on or did you go in with ideas?

It was in person, so not sure how much applies to video (I’d guess mostly the same.) Went in with a few things I was curious about (UM licks, solo questions, etc…) and get was pretty good about keeping it moving. Ended up playing a bunch of zeppelin stuff

For real? Where is the info for that?

Lmfao pay 50$ to just talk to stasik for 30m… it just gets better.

Honestly though good for these guys getting creative to hustle through this situation.
