The implication in that statement is that no one is going to Iceland other than this show. I think y’all are being a little alarmist.
No one is shutting down borders, especially a country that strives on tourism, over 15 cases of a disease in a country of 300 million
I mean I’m still gonna go even if the shows don’t happen. It be a bummer but I’m still going to have a great time no matter what happens. And if I catch the virus my plan is to go on Trump rally terrrrrr and cough on all the Trumpers

All because some assfuck in China had to have bat soup.
I was in Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island just over a week ago and thought about the cancelled fort show. And just now read about the 3 cases of COVID-19 in Iceland and 300+ people in quarantine. Next week or so will be very telling.

I heard they are going to offer a coronavirus package for fans that want to rage, rest, repeat without worry. A portion of the venue will be separated off in a quarantine tent, and fans will receive Umphrey’s themed deacon suits and masks preloaded with UM vape carts. KB’d again

My buddy was building shit for a show in Vegas yesterday, was almost completely done and it was cancelled because of it. Lots of gig cancellations in Vegas and SLC that I know of. It probably will be fine but figured I’d let people know that it is having effects on events stateside.
There was a physics convention in Denver canceled last minute due to virus concerns. Kind of ridiculous considering there are zero confirmed cases in Colorado so far and the convention was canceled so last minute that all the attendees were already in town… Seems like a lot of overreactions going on everywhere.
Yeah, seems overly precautionary, but that’s kinda my point. Hoping for everyone going that everything works out just fine. Also looks like the potential for a volcanic eruption is dwindling.

You don’t want 2010 all over again. So many flights were cancelled the last big eruption in Iceland.
Bunch of my clients aren’t allowing external guests right now. Pretty crazy considering these are companies like Twitter and Google. Google even canceled Google Next and number of companies are pulling out of SXSW - to the extent that it might be canceled. Wild times.
