This has been a great time killer. I am passionate about Squeaky Feet. Only reason i ever even said anything was because i think encouraging people to be a footnote for someone else is bad advice. I am seflish and dont want to see the first good thing to happen to the scene disappear up UM’s ass, simply to help UM. If they decided to do it, i would still be happy for them.
Goose does let smaller bands open for them though. Goose are the good guys in this situation.

The comments were never about it helping SF, and always geared towards how they could help UM suck less. If i thought people cared about what was best for SF in these scenarios, i wouldnt have even said anything. I obviously know you and @gatroe care about SF, so you dont count.

This shit is easy to do when a band has hundreds of songs that cover a wide variety of genres. Those two songs aren’t any more representative of their catalog as a whole than those two are of Phish’s.

I would argue Phish has even more of those types of shitty songs. I was just being snarky about UM’s songs somehow being too cool and advanced for goose crowd to get into.
Same here. Also, I accept that my Phish fandom is the whitest, and one of the most cringe things about me, and is an easy target. I just think its funny when people convince themselves UM, or any band, is somehow for more advanced pallets than any of these other bands.
