There was just something special about catching their opening sets during the Umphrey’s tour in 2017. I remember getting to the National in Richmond early cause I was solo and it was a milestone show so I wanted to get up front for it and just being blown away by Spafford enough to hit their Philly and Asbury Park solo dates between Umphrey’s shows. I was searching for that magic when they rolled through last time and I just wasn’t feeling it.

Yea, how i felt in the last few times I have seen them. I left the AC late night in 2021 that people loved because i was so bored. Definitely hitting the next local show i can, though, because they sound great with Cory.

I was gonna see Spafford in Raleigh tonight, but then 1/14 silent type happened and I know that Spafford will never do anything like that for me. (I also have a 730 meeting tomorrow morning, and I’m lazy).
