Yeah, I kind of did it on purpose. I realize it’s contradictory! With that said, would like to see a good argument against winter 2019 being their best stuff though.

Am I in the minority saying Spafford does not fuck? I saw them 17 times in 2017 and then not again until two nights in October last year. I’m not sure what happened between then and now but I wasn’t really feeling it. I feel like I didn’t recognize many of the songs and therefore was not vibing as hard as I did while they were opening for Umphrey’s. I also feel like I am past the point of learning a new catalog. Give me Umphrey’s, Lotus, the Biscuits, and Phish and I’ll call it a day.
I’m happy people are enjoying them still and I wish them nothing but success, I mean my homie is their tour manager FWIW so I’m not going to hate too much on them, but I question if they truly fuck cause I was looking for more the last two times I saw them.

I’ve seen them about 6 times and nothing has really grabbed me. They have some jam SBDs that I love and I have enjoyed some segments I’ve listened to but I could take it or leave it.
