Thank goodness for $25 all-in St. Louis tickets. No way in hell i would pay that
Did Joel just casually leak that some EU dates were coming up?
A friend on X (formerly twitter) was tweeting about hitting Portugal/Spain KGLW dates (5/18 - 5/25) and Joel replied:
âGreat idea name. Lisbon is spectacular (lol @AlexTheDictator) Take a day trip to Sintra. Make sure you leave some time on the front end of this trip too, you may want to extend it. Youâll know what I mean in a few weeks.â
Maybe they will bring back a Jam in the Dam type of event
Iâd be happy with just Harpa round 2 tbh. Hope youâre right, tho.
maybe joel is just pimping on behalf of musical soujourns. sure, heâll be playing the Argentinian date, and not in Portugal. but we know Joel is a company man and possibly not outside his realm to promote this
I donât get it.
hell yeah. I might consider doing gizz Barcelona and if UM is playing before hand in the same country might make it extra worth it for me
Oh fuck the âwifeâ and I are planning a Spain/Portugal trip next summer. May have to bump it up if this is happening
This is a good suggestion as well. Hope youâre wrong.
I thought you frequently pro-travelâd there? I probably fumbled the recurring joke.
I have been twice in the past two years which is probably above average for your typical American.
I, too, am above average for your typical American.
i think i am wrong, because musical sourjourn doesnât appear to be happening during may
What did you pay for flights on average. Honestly might go the Iceland air route for that free extended layover thing they do and hit some stuff up. I wish I could just spend a month in Iceland.
Two years ago was an immediate post-COVID world and flights were cheap affordable for international. Around $700 round trip. This most recent trip was $1100 round trip. That was a direct flight from San Francisco to Lisbon.
Iceland is my favorite country Iâve ever visited. Place is awesome.
Itâs truly fucking magical. I want to rent a camper van and just explore
the highest praise by multiple guests whenever itâs mentioned on Ari Shaffirâs You Be Trippinâ
Dan Soderâs Iceland episode was A+
Weâll always try to do a couple days in Iceland on the way to wherever we go in EU from now on. Itâs just so easy and nice to break up the trip, nevermind it being an absolutely top tier destination in its own right.
They donât have any 2025 dates though. It could easily be their next round. I still, truly, hope youâre wrong though.
I would love some international dates next year or bring back Holidaze.
