Bish have a great time and then come to Asheville shows with me and @hbbubblebath
Sluthouse lodge is hardly splurging
What is the camping even like there in the summer? It has to be miserable unless there is a lot of shaded campsites with some quality facilities on site
Maybe on AvL. I didnt take any time off for it. But im working on having saturday off for football season. So its a possibility
JFC. At $90 a ticket, no wonder they cant sell out the Caves.
Might just surprise the homie at sluthouse and say fuck the show.
That is brutal. Concert tickets suck these days. Hopefully if Live Nation gets broken up tickets will all start to come down in 4-5 years, but until then i will stick to reduced priced tickets from stubhub or cash or trade 90% of the time
Most shows just arent worth that, IMO
It wasnât that bad when we did DUMB tour shows. Actually thought it was pretty comfortable under our pop up shade during the day.
Good to know. Have always done airbnb and Big Foot Adventures shuttle, but wouldnt be against camping for a future september/october run for a band i liked
What about the Pabst?
Is the mission in a weird spot in Denver? It seems like itâs not near a TON of restaurants/bars and stuff. As many times as Iâve been there for the NYE run, I do not know that city well at all
I think that would work out and would be every bit as good
Love the pabst. Would be fine with this
Thereâs not a ton there and it is in a bit of a weird spot. Itâs a bit of a walk to anything really.
The funniest shit was âPIT VIPâ or whatever ticket option that was. Went through the other shows and 90% of them donât have that option for the caves.
Umphreys isnât hungry theyâre STARVING
Its not in a happening spot. Id stay somewhere cooler and uber to and from it personally. Also its right by a light rail station so maybe can luck out with that. Light rail doesnt cover a lot of ground, but DYOR because itd be tite and less headache than calling rides if you could make that work.
Thatâs the A line train between union station and the airport. Fortunately that runs later than most of the other light rail lines, but I think you have to pay a bit more to ride that one (if youâre the type that actually pays to ride the trains in Denver). It also only goes to union station though if thatâs the direction youâre heading, then you have to transfer to something else.
The A line platform is a few minutes walk to the light rail platform for all the other lines, so keep that in mind if youâre planning to transfer late at night.
RiNo (River North) Arts District neighborhood is very happening (a.k.a. very recently gentrified). Thatâs walking distance from Mission Ballroom. Probably your best bet if youâre looking for somewhere with a lot of bars/restaurants thatâs also convenient for the shows.
Hop Alley should be on your places to eat.
Thanks for the info guys @stringz @abyss @chicagostylehotdog. Appreciate the heads up and suggestions
Planning on going to the CT show on the 4th of July. Cool looking outdoor venue by the water in my home state that Iâve never been to. Just went to look at tickets for the first time, the place is entirely GA with a Front Lawn and Regular Lawn option. The front lawns are $115 after fees, youâve got to be shitting me lol. I canât even wrap my head around that price point for this band for a regular show. The regular lawn is $65, which even that is high for what I wanna pay for 2024 UM. Sheesh.
Why is that show so expensive are all shows there that pricey at that venue? Seems pretty steep for a show that will be over by 9-10PM with that 6PM start.
Also who thought it would be a good idea to book 2 openers for some of these summer dates? Fat chance Iâm going to the venue that early to see any of that.
