Why canât I remember the origin of Big Gigantic right now? I saw them in a conference room once in Tennessee with Two Fresh. Then they blew up. Wasnât it an offspring of the Motet?
They opened for UM in 2011 and then blew up.
serious answer, I remember the 2012 album Nocturnal being heavily promoted on all jam/EDM websites. Next thing you know you couldnât go to a festival without a Big G headlining set.

Dominic Lalii wasnât a founding member of the Motet but he was part of them 2003-2006 it looks like. I just remember sharing the first couple Big Gigantic albums with people in college and then not paying attention to them after that and then being surprised when I saw they got two nights headlining Red Rocks. Rowdytown brahâŚif I could be a fly on the wall for one of those man, woooo! Pretty sure they used to leverage that Motet connection before they got big. IIRC, they were billed as having one of the members from the Motet.
