Free VB show was surprisingly packed for a marginal weather night, maybe 3/4 full and packed FOB. More packed than I thought it would be at least. National and Norva shows always seem well sold around here too.
Just makes me wonder if maybe their tour manager is relying too hard on previous markets of Midwest where young people are moving away from in droves. Southeast still loves um!
Edit: bought $80 of merch too, and merch line seemed decent

UM is now multiple bands behind in my (somewhat) quick changing personal rankings of bands I want to see live. I’d have a hard time picking between Gizz and tDB, but UM has moved to the back of the pack
