Tampa has a lot of strip clubs. Portland has more though iirc.

Worst part for a music fan that wants to stick to driving to shows is the closest Phish plays regularly is almost 8 hours drive. Sometimes we get Miami shows…
Was great having UM start to hit St Augustine, Orlando, Miami, and St Pete regularly the pas 8 years.
If I end up moving to Asheville or Charlotte and become a southern boy I will crush some southern Panic runs with some bort homies
edit: The thing that scares me, though, is I just don’t know how you guys handle the heat. It is so fucking hot in the south.

One of my good tour buddies is moving to Charlotte from West Palm Beach, I can’t wait to have smooth planning for multi night SE runs.

It’s the opposite of the north. We suffer through the summers to get amazing winters. Y’all suffer through those winters to get beautiful summers.

precisely, aside from the winter with the polar vortex I would barely call it suffering. I would 1000000% rather wait for my car to heat up then cool down.

It doesn’t help that I have hyperhidrosis, so literally just walking outside in the South for three minutes makes me look like I just jumped in a swimming pool.

Definitely why I prefer Asheville to Charlotte, though. Not even because Asheville is more crunchy, but just because I have to assume you get a little more cool winter/summer than Charlotte. Who knows, though. I’m just some northern Yankee.

Pretty much. It is when you sweat way more than the average human for absolutely no reason. I am assuming George had that problem, too.
Can’t imagine having the option to move to Asheville or Charlotte and choosing Charlotte over Asheville.
