Fall Tour 2021

Eh, I am one of those guys who really doesn’t give a shit where I live. I mean I dont even live in a cool part of the midwest. I have lived cool places before. My happiness is never altered by where I am, but yea, I mean definitely prefer Asheville.

The thing Asheville doesn’t have, though, that is very important to me is sports. I would get Hornets season tickets in a heartbeat. Would hit Knights games all the time to scout minor league players. Would crush Panthers games in the fall.

i’ll see phish whenever i can and it’s always fun as shit and i never remember anything that happens because it was fun as shit.

so you’re against traveling for concerts at all? because driving is pretty shitty for the environment too. trains aren’t really a viable option unless you have tons of time. biking would require lots of time and flexibility at work. walking is unrealistic.

I haven’t decided on what rule I want to enforce for you all. I’ll fly when I want to and conveniently use the climate crisis excuse for not having money to fly though.

NYE runs are still good. I can’t remember the last NYE run that wasn’t good overall, other than the obligatory NYE show itself not being jam oriented.

2018 and 2019 NYE runs were both great IMO.

Respect

Imagine telling the “wife” you have to leave for phish 46 days in advance if you are going to make it on time.

At least she would have to respect the 46 days pun

IMO that set 2 is great for the big jams but also for the flow. There’s no rough spot in that set at all. Really good placement of every song, and song selection in general. I know everyone here hates Bridgeless for some reason but I love it

Winter is hands down the best time of year. I live in Minnesota and it’s not cold or snowy enough for me.

Snow on the ground November 15 to April 15 with barely to no days above freezing please.

Reminds me of the dudes in Bittersweet Motel who spent 25 days biking to The Great Went.

I don’t really subscribe to what i said. But it’s a common notion. I really do hide from the summer down here. And most of spring and fall tbh.

I’ve wanted to move to Vermont for years. Loved the time I’ve spent up there in every season.

Probably wouldn’t have a “wife” much longer after doing that

I like fall the most but certainly welcome winter. Nothing more serene than sitting on a frozen lake staring into a hole in the ice.

Fall is pretty awesome. I enjoy warm weather too but anything over 78 is too hot, and that’s before humidity or dew point is factored in.

Yeah, I feel that. But Charlotte is 2 hours away. Can still crush football games. And Tourists games are more fun than Knights games

My buddies and I are talking about doing Lake of the Woods this year for better ice and fishing.

I’ve seen a lot of forgettable Phish 3.0 shows, but this year is different. They are bringing it every night. Just went to Deer Creek N2 which was probably the second-worst show of the tour (behind the opener) and it was still fire.
