Eh, I am one of those guys who really doesn’t give a shit where I live. I mean I dont even live in a cool part of the midwest. I have lived cool places before. My happiness is never altered by where I am, but yea, I mean definitely prefer Asheville.
The thing Asheville doesn’t have, though, that is very important to me is sports. I would get Hornets season tickets in a heartbeat. Would hit Knights games all the time to scout minor league players. Would crush Panthers games in the fall.
so you’re against traveling for concerts at all? because driving is pretty shitty for the environment too. trains aren’t really a viable option unless you have tons of time. biking would require lots of time and flexibility at work. walking is unrealistic.
I haven’t decided on what rule I want to enforce for you all. I’ll fly when I want to and conveniently use the climate crisis excuse for not having money to fly though.
IMO that set 2 is great for the big jams but also for the flow. There’s no rough spot in that set at all. Really good placement of every song, and song selection in general. I know everyone here hates Bridgeless for some reason but I love it
I’ve seen a lot of forgettable Phish 3.0 shows, but this year is different. They are bringing it every night. Just went to Deer Creek N2 which was probably the second-worst show of the tour (behind the opener) and it was still fire.
