Couch Tour Thread

No, I’m just someone actually interested in facts

I’d pay $30 for a 3 setter.

Iclips was 10, tourgigs has always been a bit more in my memory and also has always sucked.

15 for the stream isn’t terrible, isn’t great, the 100 dollar “VIP” option is peak KB tho

Yea, I mean I buy Phish streams, and they are always over $20, but they work flawlessly. I can pause, rewind, and start anytime I want. Quality makes a difference with cost. Plain and simple. Unless you are the Biscuits, in which case you just do quality for free.

I bitched to TG about a stream once and had a code that worked for EVERY SINGLE STREAM for over 2 years. When TG changed their website my code didn’t work anymore. But it was a good run.

Iclips was free? Pretty sure that’s why they went under. I remember streaming summercamp for zero cost. It worked about as good as tourgigs

iClips would charge for certain events

They offered some free streams some paid streams and a package plan IIRC. I know I paid for umbowl II stream.

Yes I do think iclips was cheaper

Yeah @UMFree got to use that shit. Lol.

I havent had a tourgigs problem in a long time/ Maybe a quick stutter here or there, but nothing like it used to be.

loooolllllllll i didnt even see the KB option till now. Fucking $99 is hysterical

I would also like to point out that I am not a drug addict. I just like drugs. There is a big difference.

Well you’re getting real bent outta shape over this.

jcubson just posted a tourgigs receipt from 6.5 years ago that was $9.99 (For a special show with redman nonetheless). No drug addict memory there.

.

Everyone is missing the obvious price comparison though…

19.99 for 90 minutes full band.
14.99 for Jake/BB for 60 minutes (or is this 90 too)

The other 4 members of the band are worth 1/5 of Jake/BB apparently.

I’d pay an additional $15 to see them play plunger with a digital cshore sit in

It is also from a couch in a basement where they will have virtually zero streaming costs. My original argument was just pointing out the awesome products other bands have been putting out for less money, that I would be willing to bet my life cost them way more to produce. Multi-cam, HD, special guests, full crew, full light rigs, in a venue, etc. It just makes this look like a reach, especially with the VIP stuff. Again, KB’d.
