I’ll do that this week. Been on a major GD binge but it’s about time for some untz. Haven’t listened to a BP concert in a long time.

One rabbit jam sounds so similar to Shimmy. I really fucked up not getting into BP :man_facepalming:

I go through big stretches of focusing on BP, then will completely ignore them for far too long. Not really sure why that is. I love that emo-ish untz vibe that BP can create. Such a unique style of songwriting in comparison to the jams the tunes produce.

Juan Maclean > Lotus in the domes > Biscuits. What a great start to one of the best weekends of my life. Good fucking times.

9/25/09. Can’t fluff S1 enough. Just absolutely motherfucking reckless

Yeah dude, that AC2B is so nasty, plus it has Anthem in it starting around 21:50, which I just noticed yesterday.
The helix almost sounds like a tractorbeam jam, and the “waves come crashing doooown” is an all time nasty moment.

Always regretted not going to this one (and the following Saturday). Just made it to the night after which was just OK for 2009. But got that heady LOOSE CHANGE debut baby!

Probably had some lame parties to go to as I was still at college then. So stupid. But whatever college ruled.

great stuff guys. many, many reminders to relisten to a lot of shows.

there will be a pretty strong statement made here that may incite some "‘nway! dude"s  all kiddin’ aside, yes, I’ve taken my meds today

{ IMO, the best show of 06. My personal choice for best Pilin ever, and a definite contender for GOAT Mulberry’s (Lord of all Space & Time type jamming) } A very strong Allen show as well. You can tell he is supremely confident and just blazes.

Now that I’ve probably oversaturated all expectations, have a listen lol. All the best and be well. We will X paths at a show soon enough. IKO IKO Naked If You Can.

I always viewed this show as a turning point for Allen in the band. He’s super confident and it feels like it carried over for the rest of the year and into 07 and beyond.

Did some 20th year anniversary listening this week. Listen to both of these if you haven’t ever.

This Sven is one of my most favorite things. But that whole set 1 is just mmmm. I really dig how patient the Basis jam is leading to the peak. GIMME ALL YOUR FUCKING MONEY.

Voices is just fucking cool. Shem-Rah jam -> Floes is so niiice. Whole second set is :fire: tbh really like both the Dribble jams especially.

Fall 2007 nommmmm.

No point in really bolding anything particular in this one. @Sand_King more required listening if it wasn’t specially called out in that thread yet though I’m sure it’s on that list I linked.

You can pretty much just put all of Fall 2007 on the required listening list. One of the single best tours in jam band history.

I’ll throw 8-17-2007 set 1 into the conversation. Set is nasty as hell. All 3 sets have some great stuff, but I’ve always loved that Basis> Shem> Basis in the afternoon set.
