Always regretted not going to this one (and the following Saturday). Just made it to the night after which was just OK for 2009. But got that heady LOOSE CHANGE debut baby!
Probably had some lame parties to go to as I was still at college then. So stupid. But whatever college ruled.
great stuff guys. many, many reminders to relisten to a lot of shows.
there will be a pretty strong statement made here that may incite some "‘nway! dude"s all kiddin’ aside, yes, I’ve taken my meds today

{ IMO, the best show of 06. My personal choice for best Pilin ever, and a definite contender for GOAT Mulberry’s (Lord of all Space & Time type jamming) } A very strong Allen show as well. You can tell he is supremely confident and just blazes.
Now that I’ve probably oversaturated all expectations, have a listen lol. All the best and be well. We will X paths at a show soon enough. IKO IKO Naked If You Can.
I always viewed this show as a turning point for Allen in the band. He’s super confident and it feels like it carried over for the rest of the year and into 07 and beyond.
Did some 20th year anniversary listening this week. Listen to both of these if you haven’t ever.
2000/10/13 Great American Music Hall - San Francisco, CA

2 With ‘Svenghali’ tease
This Sven is one of my most favorite things. But that whole set 1 is just mmmm. I really dig how patient the Basis jam is leading to the peak. GIMME ALL YOUR FUCKING MONEY.
No point in really bolding anything particular in this one. @Sand_King more required listening if it wasn’t specially called out in that thread yet though I’m sure it’s on that list I linked.
2007/10/26 Rams Head Live - Baltimore, MD
S1 7-11 1 > Hot Air Balloon > Digital Buddha 2 > Hot Air Balloon
I’ll throw 8-17-2007 set 1 into the conversation. Set is nasty as hell. All 3 sets have some great stuff, but I’ve always loved that Basis> Shem> Basis in the afternoon set.
All Good Music Festival 2006. Other acts include Ween, The Black Crowes, Les Claypool, Robert Randolph and others.
Late Night Set on the All Good Stage
S1 Astronaut 1 > Voices Insane > King of the World, Little Shimmy In A Conga Line 1 > The Great Abyss > Cyclone > Munchkin Invasion, Home Again > Jigsaw Earth > Camera B 1 > Jigsaw Earth
1 Unfinished
I’m numb right now. But this is what’s playing and I am enjoying it.
I don’t know shit about gear but I love Barber’s tone in '06.
Was kinda bummed to see so few scrobbles of tDB when I checked last.fm yesterday. So today I finished 2009-04-24. Working on 2003-10-23 (been years i tell ya!) now. I’m back, betches.
I wish they would keep these remasters coming. With little to no shows happening you’d think they’d want to get some income In and keep Rich busy with some work. Just my .02$
