1-29 Dump City is definitely not the JOTY…but it’s short, sweet and fun. Also a second set opener
In the moment, I was ready for that to do big things. Never quite got there
Bump to add 2/10 Blue Echo.
Can someone suggest the “best” show of the year, have some extra time to listen this weekend.
Not sure if this helps but this is my best of 2022 improv so far. Don’t think I’ve narrowed down a best show yet
Couldnt be prouder of you, son
Attendance bias but the best things I’ve heard so far this year have been 1/21 Prowler, 2/10 Blecho and 2/11 Fancy Reprise. Don’t think there has been a show worth listening straight through.
Pretty solid list. I’d probably add 2/11 Fancy Reprise on there as well
Det n1 mantis and the show itself has to be soty?
I haven’t listened that show. Looks decent on paper
Report back.
I’ll reluctantly pop it on now. Got blueballed so hard in Boston with Mantis > cover at the end of the set. Cult of Personality is a great song for them to cover though
Mantis was great. Draconian was a disaster
Bump for Raleigh Fir (2/19).
BLBC should get a mention. Maybe not super long but man is that jam fun.
I thought the Jakeless show in KY was interesting enough to warrant a listen.
I had lots of fun with the BLBC at the show, but on relisten it’s a little Gents-heavy for my tastes.
This is the best and it’s not even close.
Yeah Raleigh Fir is #1 IMO
Bump for Asheville N1 Uncommon and Junk, Asheville N2 HBB 2nd jam, and Columbus Virtue. Others may have favorites as well - Asheville was good
