I’ll have to listen to 3/29 again. It certainly doesn’t lack for jamming, but it didn’t strike me as an SOTY candidate (or top 3). But I’ll get back to you on that one after listening again.

8/15 is, in Mortal Kombat terms, a flawless victory.

8/17, 8/24 and 10/18 are definite top-10 candidates for me. 8/17 honestly isn’t all that far behind 8/15. Florida got spoiled.

8/17 is def close to 8/15. 8/15 is probably not my fav of the year as it’s a little lacking in variety. It’s a rock show no doubt, peaks on peaks.

8/24…is middle of the road for 2019 standards, and I was there. The show was certainly enjoyable with all the first set gems, but the second set was absolutely subpar. Seemed like both Triple Wide & Junk jams were aborted and then everything else was standardtown. Jake damn near trainwrecked that Uncommon.

I am in the process of listening to the August run between 8/15 and 8/29, and then checking out the Athens run afterwards.

8/29 is definitely a top 10 show, no question. Where it fits in the top 10 remains to be seen. 8/15, like I said, is perfection - at least for me, anyways. It’s a flawless show with no weak spots. 7/3, for now, is #2 for me. Like I said in the setlist section, it’s the best SoCal show they’ve done since 3/17/11. And that Linear…my God, that might be better than the Seattle '13 version. The only weakness in that show is the Maybe Someday. It’s a good version, but it’s also the kind of song that doesn’t fit into being a set closer.

3/29 (yes, @cshore, I gave it another listen last night LOL) fits into the top 10 as well…but again, not sure where that would place within my top 10 just yet. I want to give the rest of the year a listen before I have a final top 10, so to speak.

While I attended the Seattle show and really enjoyed it, I’m not sure if it will make my top 10, although the Junk Booth Intentions is a pretty sweet segment of music.

EDIT - with the talk of 10/18, I skipped listening to the rest of the August run (for now) to listen to this show. @kev347, just so you know…I hold your show recs in high regard, too, and I’m currently having to endure No Diablo while listening to this one…I’ll forgive you this one time LOL

Hahahaha

So after listening to 10/18, it reminds me a bit of the Seattle show with having a standard-great 1st set, and an outstanding 2nd set. Not sure if it’s top 3 for me, but probably top 10.

Y’all weren’t kidding about 8/17. That’s a very, very nice show there! 8/22, as songy as the setlist is, was surprisingly awesome as well. Punchable > Wife Soup > Believe The Lie…helluva way to kick off the show. And how do you go wrong with a JO called Punchable Face? I love that title LOL

Yeah 10/18 is more top 20 to me. It’s a pretty average show but Looks > FF > Conduit > N2F is fire. Also like Transdermal Celebration > Puppet.

10/17 is even better actually. Nice Draconian > Linear in the first set, Tribute bust out, and a monster 5 song second set w/ no low points. Last 8 songs if this show have improv.

@Pookells have you gotten to 8/30 yet? Smoking hot first set. Cut Off > Eat > Linear is my favorite segment from 2019.
