I can’t decide between 8/15 and 7/3
Definitely unintentional but Joel’s synth line from 7/3 SS immediately sounded like the one from this William Onyeabor song.
The SS synth line is all over the jam but go to 8:41 on nugs.
I could see this as being intentional, esp given that it is on the official setlist…
but then again if it was intentional, the jam wouldn’t be as good

3/29 Plungina is so overlooked because of the 2 GOATYs. It’s definitely not on the same level but that plunger fucking rules SIYD

I’ve been listening back to the JOTYs and putting off voting to make an informed decision. It’s really hard to narrow it down honestly. There are a solid 20 I’d love to have on there. 19 really is a GOAT UM year
The more due diligence you complete before voting will only make you hate the eventual selections more. Better to close your eyes and pick and random

Got to 8/30. Pretty good overall show. 1st set is pretty strong, and the Cut Off > Eat > Linear is pretty stellar. 2nd set isn’t shabby, either. Stasik setlist, I’m guessing.
Lol it’s more for myself than anything. I’m sure I’ll hate the picks that end up on there. And for not liking Fir, Im having a hard time justifying why Milwaukee Fir doesn’t make the cut
