@GizaButler @thefussyasianman what are the sidewalk/street conditions? Trying to figure out shoes/boots. Also is Minnehaha worth hiking if it’s not deathly cold out?

It varies widely by neighborhood but a lot of the city is fucked right now compared to recent years. We got some bad storms followed by this hard freeze. Downtown where you are staying should have cleared sidewalks but there’s a lot of residual ice in some places. You should be fine with light boots/shoes and wool socks for walking around outside. I’d prioritize comfort for the shows since you are staying so close.
The falls are for sure worth checking out if you have the time. Also don’t think it’s supposed to get above 30 on Saturday.
We should try to coordinate a good time/place for a bort meetup. O’Donovans Pub is huge and across 1st Ave from the venue.

For a Saturday option since it’ll be a little warmer, The Butcher’s Tale Beer Garden would be a solid alternative. Solid beer list and great food.
