I was having issues with Brave and Nugs for a while so I pretty much only used Safari to play it but Arc works great with it so far.

Pretty impressed with the April lineup of free live streams: 3 UM shows, Aqueous’ 2nd to last show, might tune in for Pink Talking Fish, and if you’re into it Dawes, Star Kitchen, more Goose than anyone here cares about, and Ripe which is something my wife would happily watch with me…and others.

I emailed them when I was starting in software development since I figured it would be a cool compatible place to work for me. At the time (about 5 years ago) they said they operate with a highly experienced team of 3. Managing all the websites, e-commerce, and webcasts for each band. I was blown away. I’m sure there’s more people helping than 3, maybe not on the programming portions. But that’s what their lead told me and I’ll never forget it

I wouldn’t be surprised if they also contract technical work. There is room in that language for that.

It’s basically true, and the whole operation seems like a bit of a shit show tbh. Takes forever to hear back, a single guy does all the uploads, no automation or artist portal whatsoever. It “works”, they’re nice people and have clearly built a platform people love, but there’s no scale left whatsoever.

I’ve thought about offering to help with uploads just because they seem to get way behind sometimes, but don’t really have the time

Or better yet a self serve drag → drop → label portal for specific band users

Any of the above. Current process is you ftp into their server and then send them an email with the show info and wait for them to manually enter everything
