Muffin Man was def my favorite of the only time played covers I’ve seen. So fun. To Lay Me Down was a very nice nod to Phil Lesh too.

I was with a buddy at the 12/30 tabernacle show who I used to see umphreys with back in the day. When Morning Song played, he told me this was his first Morning Song and reminded me of the 2014/08/29 show in Athens when he got called out by Bayliss - he had written “Morning Song” on his bare chest and went shirtless during the second set in the front row 
. We were barely legal drinking age at the time, guess it seemed like a good idea to him lol. He got unmitigated shit from us and I think he is still embarrassed of it to this day but regardless he got his Morning Song.
