Obviously he’s not as pretty as you.
Trashy locks == Trashy chakras
At least @mja271 's joke is funny now.
I was really hoping this would be a Shreds It style video.
It’s not, but it’s still a pretty fucking boring bass solo. Six minutes is so unnecessary.
You’re boring
Lol, I made it like 30 seconds in and then started to skip around. He starts using some terrible fuzz effects. It gets really bad.
Tbh though I had fun the only time I saw 311.
I saw 311 once. OAR opened. The chads were out in force.
Middle school me was all over 311
I don’t know why so many bands stop playing to support bass players when they solo. It’s just them with no backup. Guitar solos are pretty shitty in that situation too unless it’s something short and sweet like Eruption.
I like Umphrey’s McGee.
London sessions actually
Mine was 311 opening for Slightly Stoopid. I really enjoyed the 311 set. Slightly Stoopid was awful
As a bassist 2.5 things that enrage me about bass solos
- Cutting out totally
- Guitarist altering the chords throughout the solo
2.5 the drummer trying to “play to the solo”
Just give me a backing of a steady chord progression and somewhat steady rhythm.
saw Slightly Stoopid at the Congress and it was decent only for the fact that there were way too many smokers for security to control. That place did not fuck around when it came to smokers.
Show was decent it had Karl Denson on sax the whole show which was badass.
Only 311 show for me was with State Radio opening. I was full Chad for that one.
Isn’t the guy from State Radio named Chad?
Reggae might be a very simple style of music but it FUX hard simply for the political firestorm that came from the music. Peter Tosh was a mother fuckin gangster
