Only one jam worth listening to from set 1. Madhuvan to open set 2 got super spooky but then they fumbled it and the jam was boring as fuck
I am just shocked that many people bought extras to shows for a band who was making a pretty big leap in venue sizes

This is just pure haterade but I really don’t even think their vocals are that good lol. Like yes they are regularly in tune which sadly makes them better than most jambands by default. But I feel like Rick’s voice itself is kind of boring and not that dynamic. I’m not drawn to the songs that I’ve tried to listen to in the way I’d need to be to compensate for the imo lackluster improv.

They definitely use subtle amounts of auto tune on their live vocal tracks, not enough to make them sound like T Pain but enough to make them sound more in tune than they probably are.
Obviously White Lights is an overuse of auto tune.
I was trying to get a good look at his mic stand to see if i noticed anything different. There is a tube coming out so guessing that is what that is
Auto tune would be put in by the FOH mixer.

This. To expand on vibes, It’s not that the vibes are too good. It’s that the vibes are “fake good.”
I still enjoy a group hoot every now and then because SCI has the purest, most natural, and definitely not forced vibes. Michael Travis scours the far-right message boards to really understand vibes and of course the banking agenda so that he can lead the crowd through the rhythms of positivity and acceptance (except for that one group, though).
Meanwhile the only thing Goose is scouring is X (formerly twitter) for cis het women who need a ticket to the show and have their DMs open. Oh, and high schools, they do like high schools. But both high schools and X (formerly twitter) have weaker vibes than far right message boards.
If Goose really wants to vibe out they need to hire Murph from STS9 for some crystal placement and flower arrangements (and learn how to do drugs like adults).
