most of the folks I know had something pop up that needed to be monitored. every case turned out to just be precautions, hoping it’s just routine stuff for ya.

They did imaging today and had trouble finding one of his kidneys. Could have been his position he was in, but the doc had mentioned that the lack of blood flow to the area could mean that it never developed. No big alarms going off but need to be there for the “wife” who is doing ok but is pretty upset.
Hope it’s just the position he was in and everything’s cool. Will know more next week!

Yea it’s looking a little hairy on the radar right now.
Looks like the more significant storms are going to pass to the north and south of Austin, heading towards the east with maybe a little tilt to the north.

The levels of annoyance I have to fly down here, the show be canceled then walk downstairs to see a Dead cover band are at an all time low. Big wins.

Maaan that sucks. Facebook posters sound pretty angry with Stubbs. Basically saying Stubbs let people in, sold them $12 beers for an hour, told everyone to leave and pour out your beer on the way out, then canceled the show after 3 hours of radio silence.

Venue shouldn’t have let anyone in, if there was lightning nothing you can do about show getting cancelled. They should’ve just kept pushing back start time until finally canceling the show. Not hard to monitor radar before the show if you knew the storms were coming.
But letting people in to sell beer to them sounds like the ultimate Livenation power move to suck every penny they can out of the fans.

Umphrey’s and Stubbs both posted on social media that there would be regular updates, but all there ended up being was the original post and the cancellation announcement two hours later.

Damn talk about a 4/20 buzzkill. This sucks but weather issues happen. Shitty that there was a lack of communication though.
