Summer Tour 2024

Maybe UM playing a venue in Chicago that people seem to actually like will help with their draw?

idk what you guys are talking about. UM will easily be able to pack The Salt Shed

Dude, it's not that funny

I already told my “wife” I’d take here to see OAR near Detroit on 8/24. Guess I’ll let the kids vote.

I know a couple folks who might consider going now, but pretty sure they just use venues as an excuse to not have to leave their apartments

I’d love to go to an undersold UM show, last one I went to was Centennial Terrace near Toledo in 2010.

yeah for real, since when is an undersold show a bad thing for fans? I’d way rather go to a half filled salt shed than a sold out first ave

Yea, i kinda doubt i make it to STL Music Park now that I am on the IL side of the burbs. Maryland Heights is 45 mins from me now, but it would defintiely be fun to be able to walk right up to the front at any moment without worrying about cutting/bugging people

I loved seeing Biscuits in tiny rooms again

UMBowl was just last weekend. Being able to sit upstairs was god tier.

But yeah Ohio/Mich usually turns out for UMs

that’s why I didn’t even entertain the idea of them playing outside. that place is fucken huge. feels much larger than 3,600 cap tbh

not a bad thing unless it ruins their chance of ever coming back because they only sold 26% of the available tickets.

I’m for chicago for sure, super considering doing Asheville and flying back into chicago for Gizz

Undersold shows are great for fans when they are indoors

Super undersold shows outdoors tends to lead to disconnect since people spread out so much

It’s basically the same size as northerly minus the lawn, which they’ve also played half sold lol

Their popularity has gone down a lot since the last time they half-filled Northerly though. Even the show where they had free tickets for everyone

Meh. Guess I’m only seeing one show this year. Y’all should be proud of me

great point, I only went to the show that got rained out. We ended up splittling a bottle of Jameson on the walk to Millenium Park to call ubers. Fun night

The make up show had free tickets and it was still empty

Salt Shed is in a better location, though. You have to really like someone to deal with Northerly. At least I do

Edit: If I lived in Chicago, I would definitely go to the Salt Shed show. I would not go see them at Riv/Aragon, and probably not Northerly. Guessing there are other folks like me out there who would probably feel the same. So in that regard, at least they are playing a decent place

Well yeah that’s because they didn’t have the bird band to help fill the place duh

Pretty stoked for Caverns. Just got back from a weekend there and it’s just the best imo. Heard someone call it Redneck Rocks

Pretty content with 1 show this year. Day after my boy’s wedding, will take Monday off and parlay nicely into Labor Day weekend.

I think some of my Nashville friends will be down too. Hope some of y’all camp!
