Damn love me Two Tides. James is a good dude from the interaction I’ve had with him
Ha, I live right across frim the Smokin Thighs off Charlotte Ave
@AlexTheDictator i can kang that peg leg porker is real deal. Went to high school with the guy who owns it son. They just opened up a place by me called Bringle’s Smokin Oasis that has great food and a fantastic outdoor area. Definitely check it out if you’re ever around
I was commenting on Smokin’ Thighs in the first portion of that post.
Gotchya. Might be nostalgia but I love that place. Ive gone all 3 times I’ve been to Nashville. Those smoked wings are fucken insane
I’m just a few blocks from Two Tides. I’ll meet you there.
I’ll be at Fool’s as well. For Lettuce of course.
Oh it’s definitely good. I just think it was too hyped up when I went. It’s certainly a top quality wing.
Basically I was overly critical in even saying it’s above average.
Any recs for stuff to do around Fools?
I haven’t spent much time in St Augustine tbh. Usually just breeze through for music. Last time I was there I had a good dinner at Harry’s. Then walked around a little but the streets were overflowing with sloppy fucks, so I got sick of it quick. I get healthy breakfast and juices from Creative Juices. I bet @Steak_n_Shake would have better suggestions.
Right on. Appreciate the info. Im excited to check out the venue.
I love the venue!
I heard they have good late night pizza in St Auggie @ass
That’s true. Five Star Pizza gets it done.
For real?
Ehhhh I may or may not have bought late night pizzas on a few occasions after St Augustine shows. This is standard great 6/10 pizza. Fire after a show though.
Haha ok. 6/10 post show is in my wheelhouse
@ass def knows how to make the people happy in st Augustine
Always a good time when theres @ass in St Augustine
Speaking of @ass and pizza, was just in Savannah and Vinnie’s pizza was a pretty damn good late night slice! Looking forward to crushing after the show in Oct!
James is an awesome dude! I met him at Bear Creek in 2012 and he would drive to Tallahassee to party with us on the weekends when he lived in Albany. I respect the hell out of him too. He quit his job as a CPA to start Two Tides and has been killing it ever since.
