I thought this was going to be a Tier-3 jam band fest, but it’s actually a Tier-2 jam band fest, plus War on Drugs! Animal Collective! I’m actually really fucking excited about this lineup. I may not be able to swing three days but hopefully Umphrey’s will be on the same day as some of the other bands I’m pumped for.
Festival thread has been gushing about the lineup all morning

Damn. Pier six tickets are fucked! There are a ton not available and any in the good sections are platinum. They have to release the others, right?
If nobody buys those they’ll end up putting them down to normal prices close to show date

Yeah, that’s what I figured. But there are a ton of seats not even available that I know didn’t sell or were posted. Imagine paying $150 plus fees at pier six!!! suckers
There was an artist presale 2 days ago. But also, I was able to get 4 tickets around 9am even though UM’s website said tickets on sale at 10, but if you went to the site through Ticketmaster instead of UM’s site you could get in? I dunno, all of these artist, credit card, platinum presales are bullshit. Still see ya there?
I grabbed 4 tickets in 301, not too concerned about getting crazy close.

That’s the time when Joel said they’re going to do west coast tour too. I swear if UM starts doing west coast Labor Day weekend moving forward and I gotta choose between Phish Dick’s and UM WC tour I’m gonna be mildly upset for a small amount of time before deciding I’ll do Phish Dick’s instead.

Damn, that is lame in my book. I was really looking forward to Dicks and still am. Hopefully Montana is the following weekend so there are like 3-4 dates to hit in addition to whatever they play Labor Day weekend…
