Well time to make the best of this situation. Already in SD. Thinking it shouldn’t be too hard to cancel my flight from LA and fly from here. Maybe I’ll just enjoy some SD brews and call it a day.

Yeah I think I’m cancelling my flight as well. Most airlines are giving a full refund or at least travel credit. I was able to do that with JetBlue

Just wanna let everyone know that I made it to Beachwood in Long Beach and that place is absolutely worth a stop. The smoked wings, the beer, the vibe, super convenient parking. All great. I had a bite of my buddy’s duck gravy tots and that shit was delicious. Only downside is the Blendery doesn’t open till 4 so if there’s actually a show you’ve got time for a digestif and bail out of Long Beach in a hurry. They do sell Blendery bottles to go at the bbq spot though. Monkish was cool but I doubt it’s so chill on a normal night.

The worst blue balls ever. Flew down to SD. Stoked for four nights of UM with some AQ thrown in. The world tells me nope and now I have no idea when I’ll see live music again. So close to getting a few UM shows to think “at least I went out on a good note”. Instead my last show was a really lackluster Wood Brothers show.

Can’t imagine that show having much energy, at least I saw Marcus King for my last show so the blue balls could be worse on my end. The timing was brutal either way.
