are the biscuits actually trending up or are they just playing well? Their current tour is a lot of pretty small rooms

Biscuits are way more niche but it’s undeniable that UM’s popularity is declining.
I for one blame KB
They definitely are, they were damn near dead during covid.
New album coming out, fans been loving their newer songs.
I also just know a good handful of people who hated them forever, even in their peak, but have become obsessed over the past year.
Whereas with UM, i feel like you only ever see fans jumping off, as opposed to jumping on.
Could just be the circle of folks I know.

Had a couple of friends tag along to Red Rocks in 2021 that have become fans. See a decent amount of people on the subreddit and r/jambands that are just discovering UM.

edit: it also mankes sense why no one in my circle has recently gotten into them, because they are surrounded by folks constantly telling them how much they suck now.
