I bought my Dillion tickets just in case of a potential sell out. Red rocks not worried about. See you guys this summer, hopefully I’m only peaking on drugs and not COVID.
Long story but looks like I’m in for this run. VRBO in keyestone secured
at least tl;dr for us
but yay! Cant wait for this run
Stars aligned perfectly with family in Fort Collins, and get to fly free with companion pass with my mom since she’s going to see my aunt. And a friend is tagging along and the place we’re staying is so cool
Only downside is it’s during Bonnaroo which is going to be a tough pill to swallow missing
But super stoked nonetheless!! Excited for a Colorado summer trip
That all sounds awesome! I think youll miss bonaroo a lil less when youre surrounded by CO natural splendor. It’s sooo gooood 💆
Needed to be reminded of that. Also matches my 2022 goal of seeing more family. First rrx umph too which has been a bucket list
If I can convince my wife to drive out there I would probably try to stay in Dillon and see the Dillon and Vail shows. #twt
Why would you drive to CO?
Yeah doesn’t Aldi have an airline?
Seriously, that drive sucks so much.
Such a long, flat and boring drive
Baller ass house for Weds and Thurs in Dillion booked, check.

Because I have never driven out west and I would plan on several days of fly fishing and bringing all the gear on a plane is a PITA. Plus depending how much time we would have we may explore other areas on the way back.
I’m dying here man, such an original joke, fucking hilarious.
I did the drive to CO from Chicago for Trancegression in '07. Miserable drive. Canadian Jamie (RIP) almost killed us halfway through Kansas when he fell asleep at the wheel around sunrise and drove us halfway down the huge pits in between the E/W lanes on the interstate. Scariest shit ever.
Frontier flies non-stop and we could do this with only two days PTO because we have that Monday off due to a federal holiday. Maybe flying would make more sense? It would just affect the fishing aspect of the trip. #TWT
lol
The drive really isn’t that bad from the Midwest. If you leave at the crack of dawn you’ll be in Denver for a late dinner. If I leave after work I’ll spend the night in Omaha or Lincoln and be in Denver by early afternoon.
Nebraska is boring as shit, but just set cruise to 75 and summercamp 08’ it up!
So I can spend 3 hours flying non-stop on Frontier from my local airport for $200 RT or an entire fucking day with connections on another carrier for $450 RT. You can really come off as an insufferable asshole at times, Matt. Congratulations!
