Wonder what percentage of this is skewed by people from the same groups all having tickets for each other?

Team UM doesn’t talk about that

That’s the point. Why should they care? Those are sold tickets

Goose I thought.

Sounds like if you’re paying $ for tickets to this show, you’re doing it wrong.

I agree with most of what you are saying but I also think it’s disingenuous to claim that “clearly the prices meet the demand” because that is not what happened at all. Good on UM for making great money this run but the fan friendly thing would’ve been to allow people to back out of lotto requests (at the expense of the deposit).

Because they chose literally the worst way to handle this

Seriously why couldn’t they use 2 factor authentication and a nonrefundable deposit to choose a certain amount of tickets? It’s not like there wasn’t a year to figure this out.

Yeah, I’m not saying I agree with how this whole thing was handled, just that expecting them to lower prices after the onsale due to potential change in capacity (I’m still not clear if UM is raising capacity or not tbh) is unrealistic

Either way it’s laughably bad management and decision making from the band and every hanger on

I know lower prices are a pipe dream but they could have avoided double selling tickets to everyone who was committed enough to actually try to make a plan

I really wish I wasn’t busy that weekend so I could catch these shows.

Between staying with my sister, using my miles and buying a 3 day pass for like $15 this whole weekend could have cost me under $300.

Yeah that’s where I’m at. Really hoping I can make it.

so… they’re still not raising capacity? Or they are? I’m honestly still confused

And that’s the other part of this bullshit

They are literally playing both sides so that they always come out on top. It’s so bad it’s an Always Sunny meme.

I literally have no idea of what the correct answer is to your question. Slightly increasing? IDK…

The only thing I DO know is who didn’t write those tweets

they probably know most of the fan base can’t read anyway

what do you expect when their fans are emailing them about making songs about raptors screeching and growing up to fuck bongos or whatever.

i bet the reason ticket prices are so high is because they think the fanbase is loaded because of that dumbass song idea

They shouldn’t care, but claiming these shows as “almost sold out” while ignoring a likely decent chunk of people double dipping on tickets is stupid.
