My late father called ‘em Humphrey McGoo quite a few times, even though he loved ‘em when I’d play shows for him. It’s a f’n weird name, as we all know, but those unfamiliar with them have an extra hard time. He also slipped Humpty’s in there a few times.

The real golden ticket was when my “wife” won the golden ticket for summer camp survival kit. Such a bs ticket, they gave us sunscreen and gold bond. I was so high I went up to the tent where we got our bags and tried giving it back and kept saying this must be some sort of mistake, I wanted the one with free tickets.

I wonder what % of shows the previous winners have attended. Pretty sure this guy, an UMcuaintance if you will, I used to see on UM tour with @Albert_Ross bought one through Jake for a few grand in 2014 or 2015. He was at a ton of shows during those two years. Haven’t seen him since St. Louis 2016, but at least he got good use out of it. I can’t imagine these people who win it going to more than 30 shows with it, but what do I know?

Not going to lie I wouldn’t mind going to Summer Camp next weekend. I haven’t been since 2009. It is a great place to pad stats if you go UMVip from the looks of it. +5’ing your show count in one location is pretty heady.

Aiden and Kenly won it in 2017 and they attended damn near every show for that year. Pretty sure there is a “The Floor” blog post about them.
Edit: Found it. They did 74 and 75 shows. Very impressive
