You count an UM VIP set as a separate show? I’ve always counted shows by date, regardless of how many tickets/sets they play.

I’ve never seen an UM VIP set but I don’t see why one wouldn’t. I count my in-store performances (albeit two total) in my show count but I could see the argument for why one wouldn’t. I think consistency is all that matters.

If it’s on allthings.umphreys it counts on my stats. VIP sets are 45min, aren’t there some festival slots they’ve played not much longer then 45min?

Not UM, but would shows in the VIP tent at summer camp count as a separate show by this logic? I plan to catch a Magic Beans set at the campfire stage and in the VIP tent on the same day at summer camp, so is that one or two “shows?”

I ended up backstage for the first time ever in SF or LA in 2017 and when Bayliss saw me back there he was like “what the fuck are you doing back here?”. Not gonna lie, it was pretty funny. We’ve talked a number of times through the years randomly but I just don’t really care about shit like that. Usually want to get back to my hotel or wherever I’m staying to keep drinking and order pizza or something.
