TLDR- Jake is on hiatus due to being discovered as some kind of savant while working at his 2nd job as a janitor at an Ivy League school, or something like that.
Itâs so kind of Ivy League schools to have a rehab
Umphreyâs Nashville B Bowl two day presale tix at $127.63 pre tax. God they piss me off. Donât think Iâve ever paid more than $50 for a show there
Good grief!
That seems pretty on par with most tickets these days, though. I just had to pay $60 on Friday to see Oteil and Friends. I was shocked when i got to the door. Figured it would be $35-$40. Claypool Gold was $75.
Just checked, some other events at Brooklyn Bowl had $54 tickets, but most are in the $34-$42 range.
Probably the smallest venue theyâve played in Nashville in 15 years but still pretty annoying. Will swing by the venue later this week so I can avoid fees
+1 on being surprised at Oteil prices but Saturday. I chalked it up to post Dead & Co inflation. Great show though!
At the airport, about to fly out for Pine Creek Lodge
Hell yeah have a great trip Pat! Youâre going to love that place
Safe travels. Never been to any music in Montana, but the state is gorgeous. One of those places that makes you feel closer to the universe.
Good show, for sure. The Dead and Company bump was very real. Venue was overflowing.
Same with park west. Had 2 guys right next to us ripping cigs all night, one of which had his back to the stage most of set 2 talking to anyone who would listen.
