I have been kicked out of multiple shows in my life. Every time it was 100% my fault, though. Would blow cig smoke in security face when they would warn me. Pull bag and keys out like its my cellphone. I was just a real piece of work and didnt care about anything.
That sucks man
Got a Yuba ticket. Actually managed to get a few non-fans on board too just with some pics I sent them from last year. Handful of close friends that are fans of them also got tix that weren’t there last year.
$113 all in for ticket & car camping. Each additional passenger’s show ticket w/ camping is $75 (plus tax).
Anyone even close to being on the fence should try to make this show work for your schedule.
Last year was so magical. I remember just laying on the hill and looking up at the stars and seeing the Milky Way.
I’m going to try to go but Pine Creek is up next. You ever been to the Mish though? My first time at the Mish in 2008 was for Mike Gordon and I had just gotten back from a summer in Europe without LSD (just fungus) so my mind was pretty fresh for tripping. The homie puddled me before Mike came on and I stayed up all night watching the sunrise in the mountains camped right at the base of the Mish (they squashed that shortly after IIRC). Pretty sure I saw a bear walking across the mountain on the other side of the canyon too but I was pretty high so can’t confirm.
No I was going to mish last year but lost the job and couldn’t swing it. It’s on my bucketlist
I lost my job in 2023 and I ended up having to work two shitty jobs just to swing it but seeing Umphrey’s there was huge on my bucket list so I sucked it up and made it happen. The last time they played prior to 2023 in 2009 with the GOAT Wappy I was arrested the week before and my arraignment date fell on the same day so I couldn’t figure out a way to do it then. I hope you make it whenever they play it next brah! If you are interested I currently have Claude Cowork searching for jobs for me, then optimizing my resume to match each job listing, then researching the hiring manager and recruiter, next it identifies pain points and challenges facing the organization, then it drafts a 30-60-90 day plan and video outreach script I can use to reach out to the hiring manager with. I just have to review the resume and plan then submit the application. Takes away a lot of the bullshit work that comes with looking for a job. I literally just started doing this when I got back from Wyoming so time will tell if this helps me land interviews but this is going to be the most effort I put in since I was laid off April 2023 to return to a full time salaried gig.
Remember too that was literally THE day that the 8 or so weeks of relentless oppressive heat and humidity we had finally broke, and the temp dropped like 30 degrees. Vibes were immaculate.
it was my girlfriends first show too. And after being laid off, I decided to do all 3 nights of that run. Hung out with @ski-bUM and his fam, one of my good college friends, and then gf came for the yuba show. Buddys last road trip too! I have fond memories of that run
I’m coming with my family. Camping out the night before the show and making a weekend of it. Area has some great spots around it too.
Im gonna try some spots to slay some trout
I’m told that @ski-bUM was camping in my campsite with one of our mutual friends so there’s a chance we actually met each other
I grabbed Row G on the floor and they were $82. Definitely one of the most expensive UM tickets I’ve ever bought in the US
Man $100 for not even full band is ruff
I unfortunately didn’t camp since I had old man budders with me, but I def me someone in a beer line that recognized me from my pics, and Aparently someone else was standing right near skibum and I at the show
When did they play a Mantis (split) > Making Flippy Floppy? It just popped into my head and now I feel like it happened and had a sick jam
If you look up a song on ATU it shows the songs played before and after. UMBowl III appears to be the only time they did Mantis > MFF.

On 7/4/09 and 9/6/09, they played MFF after ending Mantis. On 4/23/11, they played MFF into the end of Mantis. And on 2/2/13, they played Mantis Ghetts > MFF.
Thanks, of course it’s a 2012 show when that’s all I’ve been listening to lately. I just found the Detroit Ghetts > MFF
I’ve got very fond memories of that 2013 Grand Rapids > Detroit weekend. Shows were very solid, for sure. That was the night we did the still relatively spun out, 1:30am back to back American Coney Island > Lafayette bender. It was amazing.
I’m rewatching the salt shed show on YouTube. Man that exit signs is so good.
