It’s definitely Wyoming. The Yellowstone Ter, Wyoming > Montana > Idaho
No way they’d try to pull 2 beach destination shows in the same calendar year

sers
And maybe to the Tool thing too
I take this to mean they’re playing Cheyenne Frontier Days, the worlds largest outdoor rodeo.
but maybe jackson. Can’t think of a place in Laramie that would workl but its been 10+ years since I lived there.
They’re probably playing that new spot in Jackson that all the bands their size are playing
Def gonna be Wyoming, and I’m for it
Kinda surprising they haven’t hit every continental state at this point
This is why it’s gotta be Wyoming. Hawaii will be a destination event in 2027 to celebrate hitting all 50.
Thai me up is calling my name if it’s still there.
Love Jackson so I’ll be there. Aug/sept in a mish → pine creek run would be perfect. Make a Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip out of it. Maybe freak out some of the star valley weirdos along the way
i could freak out some squares, but probably not equipped to freak out the weirdos
Certainly not with that attitude.
in this case the weirdos are LDS, I believe in you.
Skimming through the Indy shows and I think the mixes are sounding more balanced overall. It’s still kinda strange how separate each instrument is. The drums feel like they’re in an entirely different band than the guitars, keys have disappeared to the back again, etc. we also seem to be back to the annoying center panning only for solos, and now it’s happening with both guitars rather than just Jake.
All that said, I think they’re more listenable than 3 months ago
I found an old UMLive from 9.16.2009 at the House of Blues in Vegas and I was blown away about how good the sound was. There’s so much clarity and all the instruments are mixed so that you can pick each one out clearly and they don’t get in the way of each other. Perc and Keys were way up in the mix compared to these days.
I’m really liking Turn and run as a composition all of a sudden
I have a slightly unpopular take - I love Turn & Dub
I like them both. The Fillmore nye 2017 turn and dub is so fun with the horns and then mitten…fuck the haters
The 1.29.2011 T&D from Philly is an all-timer. Stellar jam, that whole show is full of great improv tho
You still know what to do once that lightning
hits
There was a few TnD bangers from that era.
