Must have been ‘09. The first s2 ever was in Milwaukee on 10/3/09. Great times. I remember everyone walking into it, not knowing what to expect.

Thank you! I got those runs mixed up. It was the 2009 two-fer cause one of them is the only UM show I’ve ever been kicked out of. 2008 run was almost the exact same dates.

I think there HAS to be one debut. Sheep is the one I really really want. I’ve told Joel this multiple times, and would at least patronize me by saying that’s not the worst idea he’s ever heard.

I wouldn’t mind seeing them go deeper cut and doing Obscured by Clouds > When You’re In. Or Careful With That Axe, Eugene

Dogs Of War is a deep track favorite of mine.

Killer track! It proved that post-Waters Floyd wasn’t bad. A Momentary Lapse of Reason is a great album as a whole

He’s not the most talented keys player in the scene but I love his textures and he’s easily the biggest improv whore/voice of diehard fans of the group. If Joel or Baylor left, I’d probably completely divest from UM.

Joel rarely does anything interesting, but when he does it usually hits. Clearly the low point is Stasik (if we’re not including Andy since he’s irrelevant).

At least Joel likes to jam and is completely invested in the band. Plus hes a nice guy.

I get the personality issue but dude can still play a consistent bass. He does his job. Weak spot of the band is currently tour management followed by audio IMO.

KB has always been an issue. A lot of their tours over the years have made absolutely no sense at all logistically. But with a waning market, idk that they have much choice in where they play. The audio is atrocious, I’ll give ya that.

But if we are talking about musicians the band could do without its obviously Farag followed by Stasik. When Stasik leads a jam it usually works (think I made a thread about that back in the day), but other than that I dont think he adds much to the band. Plus his setlists are awful.

So fuckin bad dude. You can always tell a pony set list when you see it on paper. Wonky as shit with no flow.
