I have no idea why they did the 2 openers, one is bad enough. I’m not showing up to the show until Umphrey’s comes on anyways since I will have my son. Exposing him to one drug band is bad enough.
Have they announced set times for Salt Shed? I’d have to book a post work flight from Minneapolis to make it, and a start before 8pm would make things difficult. Friday rush-hour traffic from O’Hare means it would probably be faster to take the blue line right?
Same. That’s why I may bail on Bmore. A lot of work to go watch one set.
Actually not a bad set up for you bringing your son
FWIW, I’ve been told the outdoor shows at SS have a hard 10pm curfew, so I’d expect a 7pm start. Show begins at 5pm w/2 openers…
Just my guess, but feel it’ll at least be something along those lines.
Playing a 1 set show in Chicago would be ridiculous.
Not sure about those accounts specifically but lately there have been a lot of fake musician accounts that like and reply on posts trying to get people to DM them.
I think it’s pretty messed up if this isn’t advertised upfront tbh. For A band that plays 2sets at 99% of headlining shows.
This hasn’t been confirmed of course. But Eggy causing UM to play one set would be bad . just a rumor.
Oh fuck you’re coming to Chicago! Wanna split a hotel room
You could take the blue line to Jefferson Park, and then hop on the metra to Clybourn. From Clybourn it’s like a 15 minute walk to the Salt Shed. I’d bet it would be faster than 90.
really no need to switch, you can take the blue line all the way to Division and then you’ve got a 15 minute walk from there.
definitely quicker than inbound 90 from o’hare either way though
All right, Coney Island. Ok, you can take the B or the F and switch for the N at Broadway Lafayette, or you can go over the bridge to DeKalb and catch the Q to Atlantic Avenue, then switch to the IRT 2, 3, 4 or 5, but don’t get on the G. See that’s very tempting, but you wind up on Smith and 9th street, then you got to get on the R.
well, yeah
Snucka recs?
11.14.08 has a cool Snucka encore iirc.
10/9/08 is good

I saw Trombone Shorty at the Shed last summer also with 2 openers and an early start. He danced his ass off the stage at 9:59 on the dot.
10.27.07 is best Snucka pt 3 of all time.
Turn it UP
