I piled into the trunk of a car (pretty fucked up) with ziggy, Dean, and someone else and hauled ass from GA theater to St. Louis.
Huge group of borters went to the St. Louis zoo before the show and took acid. Think we got spit at by a camel.
Worth the drive - the 4/5 Meyer’s bday show ruled. Pretty sure we pestered someone enough to play fame as setbreak music, which they did.

My crew had thrown disc golf before the shows in Charlotte, Asheville and Athens on that trip. I don’t think I physically could have done it with out a chauffeur.

Just looked up scamp 2012 bc i couldnt remember if the Depth Charge → HBB was from 2012 or 2013 and noticed that they oddly did it both years. The 2012 one is definitely the better bath but 2013 was wild bc of how hard it was raining. Just straight downpour and DC → HBB was the perfect opener. Shit was rowdy

if joel is only performing at the buenos aires music sojourn and not the one in portugal, then sounds like UM will have some dates 10/7-10/13

Keep that guy away from UM. He’s a good interviewer, his live schtick is entertaining when you happen to see em at a fest or something. He’s a solid opener, but man, the few times I felt jaded at a show was the Frasco Disaster. Can he just exist in his corner of the jamworld and please leave allthingsUM alone

Yea, i hit a lot of local stuff. Lived in the Grove for a couple years when i moved to the city. I am currently in the IL burbs, but still in city all the time. Going to Lona’s Lil Eat later today
Going to Sierra Hull next week, but thats at Sheldon so not really a meet-up spot
Keep me posted on future shows you hit or if you ever want to carpool to stuff in the region or hit a Cardinals game

I haven’t been, but I’ve heard good things about Lona’s. I love The Sheldon - I think the last show I saw there was George Winston (RIP) and then Little Feat a while back.
