damn I sometimes almost forget about 6/5/08 bc of how much I played that shit over and over back in the day. @Zencer if you havenāt listened to 6/5/08, put the IC ā Synco on right now. Its almost cliche to recommend it now bc of how much we gushed over it for so long, but its honestly Shimmy Shanker status for UM

The first set of that show and the 2nd set of that 10/16/07 show are probably my favorite 2 sets. If Bisco can still rock 4 song sets, thereās no reason that UM canāt pull this trick out of the bag again.

There has only been a handful of 4 song UM sets in their entire history
Dont set yourself up for heartbreak by ever thinking UM will have a similar philosophy and approach to their shows as the Biscuits do. Its just not going to happen
Edit: that isnt a shot at umphreys, either, its just not fair to expect them to be something that they arent

Iām not entirely without reason, and accept that UM isnāt going to have a 4 song set or bust out a 40 minute song anytime in the future. However they can still play an uninterrupted set and throw a couple segues in there and Iāll still be happy.

Those days never really existed for UM. Shows back in the day used to have more songs. Seems like 5-6 song setlists are more common today then 15 years ago.
