Then he’d be staring at his watch the whole time
Search 4 is a great song. I forget about it pretty regularly
Because they hardly ever play it
Watching the guitar teacher’s youtube commentary of the 2/11/2016 Penn’s Peak show has reminded me of just how complex and creative the band’s compositions are. I always knew this, but it’s easy to take it for granted when they are such incredible improvisers as well. It’s absolutely astounding that they are able to pull off both aspects several times of the course of a show.
That show was my first and only time at Penn’s Peak, what a beautiful room
I remember like a decade ago when Search 4 and the Floor were at a bunch of shows
Yep. Search 4 played 25 times in 2008 and 18 times in 2009. After that it really fell off a cliff.
Super bizarre that it didn’t get a small revival around late 2011/2012 considering it was on DBS. Especially when thinking about how songs that appear on new albums get almost overplayed at shows around the time of release. Just Jake not like to sing it or something? Swear I remember reading that at one point
That’s exactly what it is. For some reason, the key/range that the vox are in is really hard for Jake to sing these days
UM-curated quarantine playlist…on Tidal.
#BMG
Lmao
Well that’s one way to make some cash during quarentine…
Tidal still exists?..
Why do so many of the members cling onto their hair? Jake, Kris and joel would be better off embracing their hairlines are not what they were. Just go with it.
I don’t think any of them would look good bald
Reminder that Stasik is balding hard too
Joel definitely would
I was all messed up at a NYE show a few years ago when Stasik wasn’t wearing a hat and I couldn’t stop focusing on his bald spot. I remember having some weird thought loop about watching a bunch of old dads on stage. Weird night. Woke up the next morning with a list of potential song names, including, “Can’t Wait to Bald.” Good times, would do again.
That Supernatural Beings set UM fb just streamed was fantastic
People actually use Tidal? How is that even still around
