The "wife"s sister saw him there, totally by accident too. Didn’t know about the winery, but happened to drive by and see the sign, and knew it had to be Les Claypool related, so she stopped. And he just happened to be there that night.

I’ve driven by it a number of times but never stopped inside. I’ve heard he works there pretty often.

that was my first introduction to Les cause I had a group of friends that were all into buckethead. Coma is an incredible album by him

They crushed it last night. I think it’s only my second time seeing them (other was GOTV 2010) and had a great time. Loved the Rush set. I managed to get the last non-display poster

How long has Primus been playing this tour and what time have they been going on? I assume two sets with a break before the Rush set?
Starting to get extra excited for the Denver show next Thursday, despite being bummed they subbed out Wolfmother for Black Mountain as the opener

other night Black Mountain got like 75 min, 30 min changeover, 60 min Primus set, 20 min set break, 45-50 min Rush set, 15 min encore

interesting, Sword definitely didn’t play more than an hour and Primus’ first set was definitely an hour plus.

I showed up late, so I could be wrong about their full set time, but they ended 75 min after the ticketed start time

Maybe they have different timing for the different openers., Sword went on pretty much at the ticketed time.
How did BM sound? I enjoyed Sword but their mix in the auditorium was dogshit, the sound was awful
Sound for BM was fine. I’ve seen the Sword a handful of times and it always sounds awful for some reason
