Myers is definitely an entertaining party guest
Nothing to do with the partying. Most people at afterparties are all having a good time. He is just awkward. You can tell he spent his childroom practicing drums as opposed to developing social skills. Not that uncommon for artists

Even as a fan who has lost a lot of interest in the last few years this one hits really hard.
These are really big shoes to fill; this is not like post-grateful dead acts cycling through guitar players or gov’t mule switching bass players all the time (respect to Allen woody of course)
Kris was really the one who made their post mirro live experience possible with his stamina and virtuosity in all types of music. As we have seen the band has been able to make captivating music w/o Jake but idk about this. The Kris-less shows I saw recently were tough to get through. I hope for the band and community’s sake they can figure something out

This is why they shouldnt rush with the replacement
Find the person who can push you to another level and bring something unique. We dont need some basic jamband drummer coming in and trying to replace Kris

Upward my dudes. Love you Kris!!! Thank you for the good times. Too many to count. I remember my first Myers show at the Metro 2003. We used to chop it up at shows and Summer Camp. Just a great person. Eager for his new life w UM.
But this is Bayliss’s band. New drummer will take the band in a new direction. New grooves to take flight upon. Let’s do this!!

Damn guys, this really genuinely sucks. Have so many great memories of seeing UM, and kris was always a big part of that. Also after feeling like the band was finally finding its footing again after his medical absence. Hard not to feel like something died today.
